Paul Pogba, or to go by his full name, '£89m Paul Pogba', has had his fair share of critics this season.
Since returning to Manchester United from Juventus for a world record transfer fee, he's yet to live up to some of the expectations that many had of him, becoming a figure of fun for plenty of rival fans as a result.
One man that refuses to doubt him is his manager, Jose Mourinho. After describing him as the best player on the pitch in United's defeat at Chelsea on Monday evening, Mourinho used his press conference ahead of the Europa League match with FC Rostov to launch a quite stunning defence of the player.
The United boss suggests that much of the criticism directed at Pogba is a result of jealousy, with his high wages being envied by football fans and some of the pundits that have spoken critically of his performances.
After this, he praises Pogba's attitude and personality before reiterating that both he and the club are happy with what he has done since returning to Old Trafford.
