Manchester City supporter hurls hoarding at police officer after Wigan loss

More unsavoury scenes from the end of the game

There were some unsavoury scenes at the end of Manchester City’s loss to Wigan Athletic on Monday night.

The League One side recorded a 1-0 win over City to advance to the FA Cup quarter-finals. Will Grigg got the only goal of an eventful game, which saw Fabian Delph receive a red card before half-time, and there was a touchline argument between the two managers, Pep Guardiola and Paul Cook.

There were then some unpleasant scenes at the final whistle at the DW Stadium. Following a pitch invasion, Sergio Aguero was involved in an altercation with a Wigan supporter.

While, in the away end, a City supporter appeared to hurl an advertising hoarding at a police officer.
