The disciplinary committee of governing body Uefa has not punished Atletico
Manchester City have been fined £11,910 for the “improper conduct of the team” during the Champions League draw with Atletico Madrid in Spain last month.
Pep Guardiola’s side progressed to the semi-final of the competition after a goalless second leg tie at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
Atletico defender Felipe was sent-off for a foul on City’s Phil Foden, which led to confrontation between both sets of players and coaching staff.
UEFA have fined @ManCity €14,000 (£11,910) for the ‘improper’ behaviour of their players during the Champions League draw with Atletico Madrid. That is the only additional punishment around that game.

While the Premier League side have been handed a fine by UEFA, Atletico have not been punished by the disciplinary committee of governing body.
Savic clashes with Grealish
During the altercation, Atletico centre-back and former City man Stefan Savic appeared to pull Jack Grealish’s hair. Following this, he chased the England international up the tunnel in order to confront the ex-Aston Villa man.
Savic attempted to drag Foden off the pitch after the Englishman was fouled on the touchline. He also appeared to steer his head towards City substitute Raheem Sterling.
Atletico avoided partial stadium closure
UEFA had ordered the LaLiga side to remove at least 5,000 seats at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium, which came after “discriminatory behaviour” from Atletico fans during the first leg clash in Manchester.
However, that punishment was suspended after a request to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
The CAS approved the request for security reasons given the potentially “serious repercussions” of trying to exclude 5,000 ticket holders at incredibly short notice.
Atletico released a statement announcing that “all members and fans with a season ticket or seat” could attend the Champions League quarter-final tie.
