PSG will be struggling

Not only is Zlatan Ibrahimovic going to get ridiculously well paid and the opportunity to endear himself to the fans of one of the biggest clubs in the world, but his buddy could be coming along for the ride.

Reports in Italy claim that Manchester United are set to break the bank to bring Ibrahimovic’s former Paris Saint-Germain teammate and close friend Marco Verratti to Old Trafford this summer.

Kitchee v Paris Saint-Germain

Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claim that United are lining up an insane £79 million (€100 million) for the Italian midfielder, who is not featuring at Euro 2016 due to a groin injury.

Verratti, 23, has made over 150 appearances for PSG and has been a vital contributor under Laurent Blanc as the Ligue 1 giants claimed four league titles in a row.

United are in need of some fresh legs in the centre of the park and the fact that Verratti has been compared to Italian legend Andrea Pirlo will have fans salivating at the prospect of snapping him up.
