Retro football shirts are popular for a reason: they happen to look much nicer than current ones. I mean, Germany and Brazil have some crackers, but Premier League clubs have their fair share, too.

The collar might not be to everyone's tastes but it's a cracking shade of red. You really can't take your eyes off it. Of course, considering it is part of adidas Originals' retro range, United's old crest would probably be a better idea.
There have been a few comments on Twitter saying that the round neck style makes it resemble Liverpool, which is an obvious no-no, but it does obviously draw inspiration from the United jerseys from the 1950s and 60s.
From where we're sitting, it's a classy shirt. Going by previous retro releases by adidas, it could set you back somewhere in the region of between £50-60. It's up to you whether you deem it worthy of your hard-earned cash.
According to Footy Headlines, it will be released as part of adidas' 2018 retro range, which will also feature classic-styled tops from Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Juventus.
