Lucas just scored his first goal for Liverpool in SEVEN YEARS and Twitter… well, you know

We don’t quite know how to tell you this… because we can’t even remember typing these words before, but Lucas has scored for Liverpool.

The Brazilian midfielder netted in the first half of the Reds FA Cup replay at Plymouth.

After the 0-0 at Anfield, the two sides faced each other again at Home Park on Wednesday night, and it was Lucas that popped up with a header to open the scoring.

He hasn’t scored for *quite* a while before tonight. In fact, the last time he scored, Barack Obama was still in the first 12 months of his presidency.

Yes, it’s been SEVEN YEARS since he found the net.
