With Martial the only recognised striker available to the Dutchman, United never really looked like breaking the deadlock against West Ham. And when Van Gall inevitably checks his phone on his way to his car, we don't think he'll exactly enjoy reading the scores from the Championship and Bundesliga. That's because James Wilson, who was allowed to go on loan to Brighton in spite of United's lack of goals, scored for the Seagulls to spark a second-half comeback against Charlton.
