Aberdeen player forced to wear Celtic kit in stag do prank

Shaleum Logan was handed Scott Brown’s No. 8 shirt

Celtic are on course to win yet another Premier League title and, for one night only, they earned themselves a new fan in Aberdeen defender Shaleum Logan.

Heading out for his stag do on Wednesday, Logan revealed he had been forced to wear a full Celtic kit by his mates – donning Scott Brown’s No. 8 to really take the piss.

The right-back has clashed with the Glasgow giants’ captain a number of times, in particular upsetting the Parkhead crowd when celebrating Aberdeen’s away win last season – requiring a police escort off the pitch having been sent off.

Logan’s mates clearly hadn’t forgotten and he realised what he was in for on his stag on Wednesday morning, tweeting: “The boys have fuckin killed me.” Later, he stated that he was “still a fucking Don”, in reference to his current club’s nickname.

Daily Mail claim Logan’s mates had initially planned to dress the player up as Ryan Jack, the midfielder who angered Aberdeen fans when leaving for Rangers in controversial circumstances two years ago. The 31-year-old is set to marry fiancee Sam Goodrum.

Stag do pranks and football go hand in hand these days, with a number of grooms sent out among the usual queue of youngsters to be mascots for lower league teams, much to their mates’ amusement.
