Liverpool have named their price for Mamadou Sakho.

Sakho was a fan favourite at Anfield, but got on the wrong side of Jurgen Klopp last summer and was frozen out of the first-team.

The French defender secured a loan move to Crystal Palace in January, and has impressed with the London club, helping them retain their place in the Premier League.

Sakho only made seven league appearance before injury ended his season, but he made such an impact that he was nominated for the club’s player of the season award.

However, if Palace want to keep him, it won’t be cheap.

According to the Guardian, Liverpool have set their price for the defender, who joined the club from Paris Saint Germain in 2013. The 27-year-old will reportedly cost at least £30m.

Steve Parish, Palace’s chairman, has said the club want to sign him permanently in the summer.

“I’m sure there’ll be a negotiation on that. If we can make it work, of course we’d like to, I’m not going to try and be coy or clever on that. He’s a very good player and I think he likes being with us. We like him. Let’s hope we can do it.”
