Liverpool followed a disappointing weekend result against Burnley with a trip to Leicester City in the Carabao Cup.
Although you could hardly describe Jürgen Klopp’s starting XI for the match at the King Power as ‘weak’, the Liverpool boss used the opportunity to field some of his squad that haven’t been guaranteed a regular starting berth in the season’s early weeks.
Although Andrew Robertson, a summer arrival from Hull, began the Burnley game at the weekend, Klopp has preferred to play Alberto Moreno at left-back for most of Liverpool’s games this season.
With the 23-year-old making his second consecutive start for the Reds on Tuesday night, it’s fair to say many of the club’s supporters were impressed by the left-back – especially his ability to deliver a cross…
Every time Robertson crosses a ball it erases a shit left back from our history. Dossena just went missing from a cinema in Rome.

Andy Robertson's left foot is illegal in 136 countries.

Haven't seen a fullback cross like Robertson since Aurelio.

I am one more sumptuous cross away from getting Robertson 26 printed on the back of the coat I wear to the match. 🔥🔥
