Liverpool have announced the signing of Kostas Tsimikas from Olympiakos.
The left-back joins for a fee of £11.75m on a 'long-term' contract and will provide cover for Andy Robertson.
The 24-year-old had attracted interest from Leicester City, but Liverpool won the race for his signature after their approach for Norwich left-back Jamal Lewis was knocked back by the Canaries.
Tsimikas shone for Olympiakos this season as they clinched their 45th league title, this time by an 18 point margin.
“I’m very happy, I’m very proud to be here. For me, [it’s] the biggest club in the world. It’s an honour to be here and I will give my best,” Tsimikas told Liverpoolfc.com.
