He becomes the second Liverpool player to join the Cherries in this January window after a deal was agreed for the loan deal of Nathaniel Clyne earlier today.
Solanke joined Liverpool from Chelsea in the summer of 2017 but has failed to break into the first team since his arrival, making no appearances for the Reds this season despite playing 27 times for the club last term.
The striker had been linked with a loan move to Crystal Palace before negotiations broke down. Schalke also expressed interest in taking him on loan, but Bournemouth have won the race to sign the 21-year-old on a permanent deal.
Bournemouth have agreed to loan out veteran striker Jermain Defoe to Rangers, so Bournemouth could be bringing in Solanke with the intention of using him as a deputy to Callum Wilson, but this move has sparked rumours of Wilson leaving the club.
Chelsea have been linked with Wilson, who made his England debut against USA in November, as they search for a consistent goalscorer.
