Lionel Messi opened his account for Paris Saint-Germain in true Lionel Messi style with a wonderful shot from outside the box to put his side 2-0 up against Manchester City.
It's taken four games for him to truly announce himself to the Parc de Princes faithful, with four games without a goal considered a major drought for Messi, however the run is finally over in amazing fashion
The Argentinian went on a mazy run, carrying the ball with him before exchanging a neat one-two with Kylian Mbappe to curl home from the edge of the box, giving Ederson absolutely no chance of stopping the shot.
As expected, the whole of Paris erupted, as Messi ran to celebrate with the PSG supporters who welcomed him with open arms.

The link-up with Mbappe will have also silenced critics who have casted doubt over whether the star-studded trio of Messi, Mbappe and Neymar can all play together, with two of the three playing major roles in the goal.
Mauricio Pochettino's side took a deserved lead early into the first half after Mbappe's low-driven ball into the box was met by the unlikely goalscorer Idrissa Gueye, who rifled home into the top right-hand corner of the goal.
Kevin De Bruyne was lucky not to see red for a late-timed challenge on Gueye towards the end of the first-half, but the French side look good value for their lead and look set to pick up their first win of the Champions League.
