Controversy has arisen on the day of the fight

The back-up fighter for Jake Paul’s highly anticipated fight against Tommy Fury has caused controversy by leaking a ‘script’ claiming that the bout is ‘rigged’.

Paul and Fury are set to go head-to-head in the ring in Saudi Arabia on Sunday evening as the duo finally settle their differences after the previous two attempts to fight were called off.

In the past there have been claims that Paul’s fights, which have predominantly taken place against former MMA fighters, have been rigged for him to win.

Former UFC star Mike Perry, who is the back-up fighter for Sunday’s showdown, has caused a stir by leaking a document which appears to form a script for the fight.

Perry posted a document on Twitter which said: “What’s happening?”. On the sheet was the order of proceedings but strangely contained a ‘fight result’.

According to the script, the American is set to walk out in a baby suit to troll Fury and his other half, Molly-Mae Hague, following the recent birth of their daughter.

Fury meanwhile will come out to the classic walkout song of ‘Sweet Caroline’ and wear attire as a nod to the rest of his family.

Further information appears to suggest that the former Love Island contestant will suffer an eye injury from the fourth round, which will eventually lead to Paul winning the bout via TKO.

It says: “The ringside doctor rushes in to check on Fury, but he waves him away.

“Tommy shall then act out an eye injury that forces the referee to call off the fight, declaring Jake Paul the winner by TKO.”

Conor McGregor’s teammate, Dillon Danis, has also shared the document, saying: “I’ve been the one telling everyone since day one.”

The final details of the script appear to confirm that Paul will go on to win the fight before engaging in an argument with Fury, who will ask for a rematch. Paul, who will have called out KSI beforehand, will agree to a rematch on the basis it is in LA.

Some people have suggested that the script is fake. According to Google Troop Promotions, the name spotted in the bottom right hand corner of the letter, doesn’t appear therefore people are questioning the script’s authenticity.
