Layvin Kurzawa harassed by fans outside PSG training ground

Kurzawa didn’t even play in the tie against Real Madrid

Layvin Kurzawa was confronted by furious Paris Saint-Germain supporters as he left the club’s training facility on Wednesday afternoon.

A video emerged on social media that showed a group of PSG fans running down the road to catch up with the left-back, who was stopped at the lights in his car.

Having managed to reach his vehicle, the fans began to open his car door and make their feeling known about the current state of affairs at the Ligue 1 club.

The group of men spoke about the Parisians’ Champions League final exit at the hands of Real Madrid, with the French giants failing to deliver in Europe once again.

Kurzawa – who did not even play in the fixture – refused to back down and attempted to talk with the supporters.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the person who recorded the video captioned it “we met Layvin Kurzawa at the training base. We will hunt you all.”

The French defender has only made one appearance for PSG this season, which came in the 1-0 defeat to Lille in the French Super Cup last year.

Karim Benzema scored a second-half hat-trick for Madrid – with his last two goals coming within seconds of each other – as the LaLiga side overturned a 1-0 first leg deficit to progress to the quarterfinals, winning 3-2 on aggregate.

PSG – who had taken the lead on the night through Kylian Mbappe – were furious with referee Danny Makkelie‘s failure to blow for a foul on goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma in the build-up to Madrid’s equaliser, insisting that Benzema had fouled the Italian shot-stopper prior to scoring.
