Blanc is the evens favourite to take over from Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford
Former Manchester United defender Laurent Blanc is currently the bookies' favourite to replace Jose Mourinho, who left his position as manager of Manchester United on Tuesday.
Manchester United announced the departure of Mourinho two days after a crushing 3-1 defeat to Liverpool which left the club 19 points behind their league-leading rivals.
Mourinho signed a new contract less than a year ago, but the club's form this season - and particularly in recent weeks - has clearly convinced the Old Trafford hierarchy that a change is necessary.
The next favourite for the position is former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, whose only managerial spell was a hugely successful one at Real Madrid.
Mauricio Pochettino is 7/1 for the job, Arsene Wenger is 10/1 and Michael Carrick is 16/1.
Ex-Chelsea coach Antonio Conte is 14/1 to take the job, while former United striker and current Molde manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is 10/1.
