Latest ‘leaked’ images appear to confirm Manchester United’s next home kit in full

It seems near certain that this is the next Man United kit

JOE

Manchester United fans, we feel for you a little bit.

Since sneaking into next season’s Champions League through a that Europa League back door, you’ve not had that much to shout about.

While that lot across town have been hastily attempting to sign half of the Monaco side that ended their own 2016/2017European campaign, you’ve seen a near certain deal for Antoine Griezmann fall on its arse. Being linked with every half-decent attacking playing on the continent since the deal for the French international collapsed has been scant consolation.

Still, at least you can now have a peek at next season’s home kit to take your mind of things.

Given that we’re now in June, it’s no surprise to learn that this isn’t the first time we’ve seen ‘leaked’ images of next season’s United kit start doing the rounds. Already, we’ve seen plenty of images of United’s rumoured new shirt, and it now seems we’ve got pictures of the shorts and socks that will accompany it.

Yet again, it’s good ol’ Footy Headlines – a website with their finger firmly on the new kit rumour pulse – who have shone a light on these new images.

As we’ve already seen, it seems the next United home shirt will feature a buttoned collar, with the three adidas lines on the shoulders but not on the sleeves.

The shorts – which hadn’t been seen until this point – will be predominantly white with the stripes in black. The socks are black with a white and red trim. As is usually the case, adidas will also provide alternative black shorts and white shirts.

Although it seems near certain that this is next season’s United kit, official confirmation is expected from the club any time soon ahead of its July release.
