Jurgen Klopp gives youth a fling as he makes radical changes for Bournemouth game

Dejan's back...

JOE

Jurgen Klopp is determined to give as many players their chance to impress him as possible in his opeing weeks as Liverpool manager.

And considering the club have drawn every single game they’ve played in October so far, it’s hardly a shock that tonight the German has sprung four fairly unknown faces from his squad into the starting XI for tonight’s Capitakl one Cup clash with Bournemouth at Anfield.

Adam Bogdan gets the nod in goals to replace Simon Mignolet, while at the back Conor Randall takes up the right full-back slot, with Dejan Lovren also making a return to first team action for the first time since he was injured last month.

It’s midfield that shows the most youthful promise with Joe Allen the senior player among Cameron Brannagan and Jordan Ibe, while Joao Carlos Teixeira lines up behind the front two of Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi.

Bournemouth are missing a number of players through injury, but Irish fan may be interested to see that Harry Arter has been given a start after he was named in today’s Euro 2016 Play-off squad by Martin O’Neill for the clash with Bosnia.
