John Kavanagh will appear on Joe Rogan’s podcast following UFC 229 drama

Rudi Kinsella

John Kavanagh was caught in the crossfire of the brawl that broke out following the biggest fight in UFC history.

We are sure you are well aware of what went down after UFC 229 in the early hours of Sunday morning.

In case you don’t, somehow, we’ll very quickly jog your memory…

Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated Conor McGregor comprehensively, forcing the Dublin man to tap out in the fourth round via a neck crank.

The undefeated Russian then jumped out of the Octagon and attacked McGregor’s Jiu-Jitsu coach Dillon Danis, which resulted in a massive melee .

A number of Khabib’s teammates then hopped into the Octagon and began assaulting McGregor, who was quite clearly shattered from the war he had just gone through.

McGregor’s head coach John Kavanagh was caught up in the incident as he attempted to intervene, but he appeared to get off unscathed.

His involvement in this entire saga will make his appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast even more interesting than it already promised to be.

Kavanagh will be Rogan’s guest on Monday 8 October, and will offer some much-needed insight regarding what the hell actually went down before, during and after UFC 229.

It will also be intriguing to find out what he believes McGregor’s next move should be, and whether he believes a rematch with Khabib is a good idea.
