Three Premier League clubs are interested in signing Jack Wilshere

Should he go?

Interesting options for him.

Jack Wilshere looks certain to leave Arsenal this summer, and three Premier League clubs are said to be interested in the midfielder.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the Welsh side could launch an “ambitious” bid for Wilshere. However, considering Arsenal will allow him to leave, it’s difficult to see how the bid is “ambitious.”

The report claims Swansea City are in the market for a new midfielder, after recently selling Jack Cork to Burnley. Swansea manager Paul Clement is said to be a fan of Wilshere, who spent last season on-loan at Bournemouth.

Wilshere is currently recovering from a fractured leg, and was the subject of a £6.5m bid from Sampdoria earlier this week. Arsenal rejected the bid from the Italian club, but they are said to be preparing another offer.

West Ham United are also understood to be interested in the 25-year-old. However, they reportedly want to take him on-loan. Wilshere is out of contract in 12 months, so another loan move would require him to sign a new Arsenal contract.

Newcastle United have also been linked with the player. The Telegraph report claims Wilshere would prefer to join West Ham and he “may need some convincing to move to Wales.”

Otherwise, Wilshere’s options appear to be limited. His loan spell with Bournemouth last season didn’t go to plan. The midfielder made 27 appearances, but lost his place in the second half of the season.

Wilshere’s last appearance for the club was during a 4-0 loss at White Hart Lane to Tottenham Hotspur in April.
