Jack Grealish set to return to England squad with first call up for one other player

The winger was left out of the Euros

The Manchester City forward had been named in Gareth Southgate's preliminary squad for Euro 2024, however ultimately missed out on a seat on the plane to Germany.

At the time the decision raised many eyebrows of fans and pundits alike who praised Grealish for his attacking intent and positive impact in the dressing room.

Along with Grealish, Noni Madueke will also be receiving his first call up following on from an impressive hat-trick against Wolves last Sunday.

Following Southgate's departure, Lee Carsley, coach of the U21s, was made interim head coach of the national side with Nations League fixtures coming up next week.

England will play games against Ireland on 6 September and Finland on 10 September.
