Wayne Rooney became England’s all-time leading goalscorer thanks to a penalty in England’s recent Euro 2016 qualifier win over Switzerland.

As you’d expect, the Manchester United captain's record at international level compared to the greats of the game became one of the main talking points in the aftermath.
