Ian Wright is disgusted by Arsenal’s rumoured new home kit

It's not gone down well at all

We could be set for a whole new-look Arsenal next season.

The sight of a manager other than Arsene Wenger in the Emirates dugout will take some getting used to but, not only that, the new home kit certainly appears to be an acquired taste.

Earlier this week, more leaked images of Arsenal’s rumoured new home strip arrived on social media courtesy of the typically reliable FootyHeadlines.com.

For the most part, supporters are disappointed with next season’s effort which just looks a bit odd.

In a slight departure from the current home shirt, next season will see the sleeves feature an unusual red stripe pattern towards the cuffs, which makes it look more like a regular t-shirt than anything else.

It is expected to be Puma’s last design for the Gunners, as adidas and Nike do battle to take over as Arsenal’s kit designer from the 2019/20 season.

And ahead of the June 1 release, it’s safe to say that it’s not going to go down as the most popular Arsenal kit in recent years.

Club legend Ian Wright has led the disapproval of the home shirt, adding the puking emoji to his blunt assessment.

And if you thought Wright’s opinion was a bit harsh, it pales in comparison to the brutal reaction the home kit received on Twitter.
