There is nothing like a child battling a bigger nemesis than any UFC opponent ever to make you appreciate what you’ve got.

Conor McGregor says he does things for the fans, and has promised tonight to put on a show for his supporters as he fights Nate Diaz at UFC 196. But the Dubliner does not just say things for the sake of it. He does appreciate the support shown to him and when he gets a chance to pay it back, he takes it. Two years ago Conor took time out to play with seriously ill toddler Gavin Glynn who was suffering from a rare cancer at the time. Ahead of tonight’s action in Las Vegas, Gavin’s dad Johnny has shared some adorable images of Conor playing with the boy, before his sad death in October of 2014. https://twitter.com/JOHNGLYNN1/status/705749198147338241?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw 1 2 Just look at the joy on little Gavin's face. Sadly he lost his battle against Embroyonal Rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer of the muscles attached to the bones, in 2014, but there is no doubt that the day spent with McGregor was one of the happiest in his life.
