It’s actually quite funny, to be fair

A Manchester City supporter has trolled Atletico Madrid defender Stefan Savic by placing a photo of Jack Grealish under his seat in the changing rooms at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

It comes after Grealish and Savic clashed in City and Atletico’s Champions League quarter-final second leg clash in April, with Pep Guardiola’s side progressing to the next round with a 1-0 aggregate victory.

On Wednesday, a video was uploaded to Twitter – captioned ‘F**k Stefan Savic’ – which showed a City supporter putting a photo of Grealish under Savic’s chair in Atletico’s changing room.

After the ‘deed’ is completed, another City fan ends the video by saying “City”. Given that the picture was placed in the changing room during what appeared to be a stadium tour, it remains to be seen whether Savic will actually see the photo of the City man.

What happened between Grealish and Savic?

The City man was involved in a bust-up in the tunnel with defender Savic following the two side’s 0-0 draw in Madrid last month, with Guardiola’s side progressing to the semi-final of the Champions League after securing a 1-0 win in the first leg of the tie.

Savic appeared to headbutt Raheem Sterling as both sets of players clashed towards the end of the second leg, with video footage also showing Grealish – who was a substitute – calling the Montenegrin centre-back a “c**t”. The 31-year-old responded by pulling the former Aston Villa man’s hair.

Following the full-time whistle, Savic then sprinted towards the tunnel to catch up with Grealish, with the duo engaged in another confrontation.

A number of police officers rushed to the scene as players and staff from both clubs arrived in the tunnel.
