With a couple of months still to go before the opening of the winter transfer window, it’s being reported that Barcelona are on the look out for a new right back.
Don’t panic though, Arsenal fans, Hector Bellerin is going nowhere (not just yet, anyway). Instead, it’s being reported by Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo that Luis Enrique is eyeing a low-cost right back, meaning any big money move for Bellerin is on ice for the time being.
Instead, they’ve identified got their eye on a few possible new signings, one of which being Stoke City’s Glen Johnson. And this isn’t even a joke.

Overlooking the fact that he is Glen Johnson, the report points to the fact that the 32-year-old isn’t cup tied for any European competition and would therefore be able to feature for the club in the latter stages of this season’s Champions League.
Admittedly, it’s not a move that many of saw coming but hey, who are we to rule it out?
We eagerly await for Barca to offer one of Messi, Suarez or Neymar as a makeweight in the deal.
