Neville will never miss a chance to mug off Jamie Carragher
Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher, once fierce rivals on the pitch, have become great friends off it. During their respective careers as pundits on Monday Night Football, the pair have grown to be recognised as the best in the business - and rightly so. Their insight is unparalleled.
But their new found friendship does still not stop them from taking the absolute piss out of each other at any given opportunity. The Manchester United vs Liverpool rivalry still runs deep within them both, and is often the subject of many banterous exchanges between them on social media.
In the latest episode of Neville and Carragher rinsing each other, the former destroyed the latter by mocking his own goal record in a tweet.
Carragher has scored the second most own goals in Premier League history, with seven, only bettered (or worsened) by former Manchester City and Ireland defender Richard Dunne.
When @Goal asked their followers where Carragher ranks among the Premier League's best ever defenders, Neville couldn't resist mocking his old foe for his embarrassing own goal record.

He's not wrong, to be fair. Carra's own goals will have done United a few favours over the years, but it's worth reiterating that he was also one of the best defenders of his time.
His performance in the Champions League final in 2005 stands out as one of his best, as he ran on fumes throughout extra time to ensure absolutely nothing got past him.
