Gareth Bale is reportedly pocketing a staggering £74,000 per minute he has played for Real Madrid this season. The former Tottenham winger has made just three appearances in all competitions for Carlo Ancelotti's side this campaign, registering just 193 minutes of playing time. The Welshman - who is in the final year of his six-year contract at the Bernabeu - has a reported net annual wage of £15million. Spanish outlet AS have made a number of calculations and suggested that Bale, who has not played for 129 days, is currently earning a crazy £74,000 for every minute he has spent on the pitch for the 13-time Champions League winners. It is also thought that Madrid are required to pay the same fee to the player again in tax, as per the Daily Mail. The 32-year-old is currently out injured with a muscle issue, and is expected to miss the Copa del Rey tie against Alcoyano on Wednesday.
