Kirsty Gallacher will leave Sky Sports after two decades working for the company.

Gallacher first appeared on Sky in 1998 but a brief statement from Sky announced on Friday evening that she had decided to to leave to pursue other challenges. "I have had 20 wonderful years at Sky and will leave with the best memories," she explained. "I am excited to start a new chapter." https://twitter.com/SkySports/status/1000091621789261826   Gallacher, 42, has presented a number of different shows for Sky, including the relaunched version of Gladiators in 2008. In recent years she had become a permanent fixture as one of the main presenters on the Sky Sports News channel and had also fronted some of the company's golf coverage. Her departure comes weeks after it was confirmed that Natalie Sawyer would leave her role as a Sky Sports News presenter. Reports at the time claimed Sawyer was made aware that her contract would not be renewed shortly before her final shift.
