YouTube star Speed has joked that he was left "crying" after he flew all the way from the US to see Cristiano Ronaldo play only for him to not be named in the squad.
Speed has rose to fame for his charismatic gaming and entertainment livestreams and has also made no effort to hide his love for Manchester United and Ronaldo in particular.
His love for the forward even led to him writing a song about the 37-year-old named 'Ronaldo [Sewey]’ and is dreaming of meeting his idol in person one day.
However after flying over for United's Carabao Cup Fourth Round tie against Aston Villa on Thursday, Speed was left disappointed as Ronaldo wasn't included in the match day squad, with the forward ruled out through illness.
Reacting to the omission of the Portugal international, Speed tweeted: "I’m crying right now, I flew all the way to Manchester to see Ronaldo and he's not playing."

To make matters more upsetting, the Ronaldo super-fan even turned up to Old Trafford with a shirt featuring Ronaldo's famous number seven on the back.

However a lack of Ronaldo was made up for with a six-goal thriller as United secured their passage to the last 16 with a 4-2 win against Villa - who beat them in the Premier League just a few days earlier.
Goals from Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay helped set up a tie with Burnley, which will take place just days after the World Cup final.
