Wazza's having a ball in DC
Major League Soccer is stockpiling players who score absolute worldies and it's made for a spectacular start to the new season.
The likes of Wayne Rooney, Carlos Vela and of course Zlatan Ibrahimovic trade solely in ridiculous goals and the former England forward netted his latest wonder strike for DC United on Sunday.
Facing Orlando City in Florida, Rooney stood over a free-kick that was basically at the corner flag and whipped it right over a crowd of players, the goalkeeper, and into the far corner of the goal.

It brought back memories of Rooney's smashing injury time effort that broke Manchester United's scoring record, sending a free-kick right over Stoke keeper Lee Grant to register his 250th Red Devils goal.
Many people take the piss out of him for his accent, appearance, or for being crap for England - despite being the country's all-time top scorer - but these goals show the sheer technical genius of him.

Rooney has scored too many worldies to count but these free-kicks sit alongside his numerous goals from the halfway line to build a hefty portfolio. And he also has that overhead kick he totally shinned in.
However in the States, he competes with Zlatan Ibrahimovic to bang in the best worldie and, well, we'll just leave this here and let you decide for yourselves.
