Tyson Fury reveals he is in talks to buy Football League club

Fury is eyeing up one club

Tyson Fury has revealed he has been offered the chance to buy his local football club and is considering whether or not to pursue the opportunity. Fury's local club is League One side Morecambe and during an interview with TalkSPORT revealed that he had been in discussions with the Shrimpers. The Gypsy King also asked presenter Simon Jordan - who once owned Crystal Palace - for advice on how to run a football club. He said: "Quick question, I’m thinking about buying Morecambe Football Club, they’re in League One at the moment. Fury then outlined his vision for the Shrimps: "Yeah, basically throw it at them and keep them going up. "I’ve been offered to buy Morecambe Football Club I own all the training facilities anyway and the training gym. So who knows? You might be looking at a football club owner." Fury is now preparing for his return to the ring against Chisora after initial plans to fight Anthony Joshua were called off after the pair failed to agree a deal.
