Tim Sherwood left the Sky Sports panel in hysterics after not knowing if either Preston North End or Queens Park Rangers had been awarded a penalty, sparking mass confusion.
Sherwood was adamant that a penalty should have been given to Preston after Andre Dozzell made a late challenge on Ben Woodburn. The former Tottenham manager had failed to realise though that the tackle was made in Preston's box, not QPR's.
The confusion first started after Sherwood said that the home side should have been given a penalty at Deepdale before doubling down on his comments.
"It looked like a penalty for Preston... it's a nailed on penalty."

All the confusion didn't stop there as Sherwood then watched the replay once again and still said it was a penalty, this time claiming it was Preston striker Ched Evans who had been fouled.
Thankfully though, Clinton Morrison was on the panel and he helped to point out to Sherwood that he was in fact wrong.
"I don't think it is a penalty, it's the other way round he's defending. Look, it's a free-kick," said the ex-Crystal Palace forward.
Once he realised the mistake the whole panel burst out in a fit of laughter, leaving Sherwood with plenty of egg on his face.
Even Paul Merson, who is also partial to a mistake or two on Soccer Saturday, couldn't resist taking a cheerful dig at Sherwood.
"[Queens Park] Rangers are kicking that way," he jokingly shouted.
QPR went on to win the game 1-0 as Jimmy Dunne's second half strike secured Neil Critchley a win in his first game in charge after he replaced Michael Beale, who left to rejoin Rangers.
