Fresh from scoring his record-equalling 31st league goal of the campaign at West Brom on Saturday afternoon, the Egyptian international received his award on Sunday evening, beating Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne. Taken from the audience, footage of Salah accepting his award is now doing the rounds on social media. Speaking to host, Manish Bhasin, Salah touches on his time as a Chelsea player, where he failed to make an impact in the Premier League. Asked if he could ever have dreamt his return to England would have gone so well, the former Roma star simply answers: "Yes," a response which is greeted by laughter by those in attendance. "From the first day the Premier League was always in my mind that I wanted to succeed here," he continued. "I didn't have my chance at Chelsea so it was in my mind that I would go back to the Premier League and I will show everyone my football. Having seen off a much-fancied Manchester City side in the quarter finals, Jürgen Klopp's men must now overcome Salah's former club Roma if they are to reach the final in Kiev.
