Roy Keane was in a spirited mood after he jokingly told Erik ten Hag to resign following Manchester United's Carabao Cup win on Sunday.
United beat Newcastle 2-0 after Casemiro's effort was followed on by a Sven Botman own goal to secure the Red Devils their first trophy in six years.
Casemiro's goal saw him latch onto a free-kick delivery into the box and fire past Loris Karius while the second came courtesy of a defected Marcus Rashford effort which bounced off Boatman.
Despite a few chances here and there, Newcastle never really got into the game come the second half and United looked more like to score a third goal however the likes of Bruno Fernandes squandered chances to add to the scoreline.
Both fans and players were involved in joyous scenes at full time as they ended their long wait to finally win some silverware.
Ten Hag himself was also involved in the party atmosphere and while being interviewed by the Sky Sports panel was shown a clip of him dancing with United players Antony and Lisandro Martínez on the pitch.
Mark Chapman asked the Dutchman if "he would be doing anymore dancing tonight?" before Keane chirped back to say: "You should resign after that Erik. He should resign."

The rest of the panel thankfully realised that he was joking and laughed along at the Irishman's typical dry sense of humour.
Beforehand, Ten Hag reiterated that he was proud of his players "every day" for the way they had been since his arrival at the start of the season.
There may still be time to add to the trophy cabinet come the end of the campaign with the FA Cup, Europa League and Premier League all still a real possibility.
