Ronaldo's hat-trick was enough to secure the win for Manchester United
Roy Keane heaped praise on Cristiano Ronaldo for his performance in Manchester United's 3-2 win against Tottenham Hotspur.
Ronaldo was the architect of United's victory and scored an impressive hat-trick on a night where he became the highest scoring male footballer of all time, according to FIFA.
The 37-year-old's first was a stunning long-range effort which arrowed into the back of the net. Ronaldo resorted the home side's lead after Harry Kane equaliser from the penalty spot, tucking away Jadon Sancho's low cross just three minutes later.

Ronaldo returned to the side after missing United's derby day defeat to Manchester City due to an injury sustained to his hip flexor.
Despite Ralf Rangnick's claims, many were not convinced that the was case and during his review of the game at full-time, Roy Keane claimed that Ronaldo played like he was "angry" and that he had a point to prove on his return to the side.
"Ronaldo stepped up to the play and he looked angry today," Keane said on Sky Sports.
"A lot of aggression in his play today.
"Again, whatever's going on last week, but he's obviously been upset with something, but he showed today what we've seen over the years.
"The guy's a genius, he's brilliant. The three goals were fantastic.

"He brings so much to this team. Why people think Ronaldo can't play every week or he can't bring value, we saw today."
United now turn their attentions to the second leg of their Champions League last 16 tie against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.
