Rayo Vallecano president, Raul Martin Presa, has claimed that he was headbutted by the agent of striker Raul de Tomas during transfer negotiations between the two. Vallecano had started speaking to the forward's agent, Ivan Garcia, ahead of a summer transfer estimated to be in the region of £10m. But Presa has since revealed that he was attacked during their meeting and had to be taken to hospital.
