Promes was arrested in December on suspicion of stabbing his cousin at a a family party
Quincy Promes is to be prosecuted for attempted manslaughter, reports Dutch outlet, Telegraaf.
Promes is alleged to have stabbed his cousin in the knee during a party in July 2020 and was arrested in December of that year by police.
The 29-year-old is currently playing for Spartak Moscow after joining the club from Ajax last season.
Promes wasn't called up to the latest Netherlands squad by Louis van Gaal due to the ongoing case.
