New Balance has revealed AS Roma’s unique away kit for the 22/23 season, which honours the club’s famous home city.
The all-white shirt is inspired by Rome’s Neoclassical period, featuring the city’s world famous architecture as a backdrop to the design.
On the front of the jersey, the club’s iconic wolf symbol, Lupetto, appears in a delicate graphic. And it’s all finished off with the unmistakable red and yellow colours of Roma along the trim of the collar, sleeves, shorts and socks.
Meanwhile, the goalkeeper kit has been designed inline with the outfield player jerseys but will be in black.
AS Roma’s women’s captain Elisa Bartoli said, “I’m a big fan of the shirt, all the special details really stand out. The design is a constant reminder of our city and its importance to this football club”.
General Manager of New Balance Football, Kenny McCallum said: “Rome and all its beauty is the heartbeat of this design. The city’s architecture provides an incredible canvas for a concept that feels intrinsically linked to club folklore and the fanbase”.
All of the club’s 22/23 shirts feature New Balance’s cutting-edge design technology, ensuring superior performance. Along with the use of their innovative NB Dry technology, this will help players remain fresh and dry from the first whistle until the last.
The kit is all part of Roma and New Balance’s ‘Our World, Our Roma’ campaign for the new season, the idea behind which is that, no matter where Romanisti find themselves, their beloved club is the beating heart of their world.
The New Balance AS Roma Away Kit was launched on August 7 and is available to purchase at AS Roma stores as well as online at newbalance.com and in New Balance stores worldwide.
