Earlier this summer it was reported that Manchester United were seriously considering allowing Mason Greenwood to return to first team action, after a host of senior sponsors gave their blessing to the move.
In the wake of this news, a group of United fans are set to stage a series of protests against Greenwood's proposed reintroduction to the squad.
The first of these protests will take place outside of Old Trafford on Monday night, prior to the Red Devil's opening Premier League game of the season against Wolves.
The fans involved are all regular match-goers, and have made a banner with the message; "Female Fans Demand No Greenwood Return - End Violence Against Women."

Speaking to the Athetlic, one of the protest's organisers said that;
"It is time for the club to stand up and make the right decision. It's time to say, 'We have high standards at United about how we expect players to conduct themselves and, if you do not meet those standards, you need to be moved out'.
"This is a tipping point for the club. Are they going to side with commercialism and trophies and money? Or are they going to take the side of the match-going fans."
Greenwood, who is now 21 years of age, has not made an appearance for United since January of 2022, due to his facing of a police investigation following allegations of sexual assault.
The forward has denied all allegations and charges were dropped earlier this year by the UK's Crown Prosecution Service.
United themselves are conducting their own internal investigation into Greenwood, with a decision on his future expected before the end of the summer transfer window.
