Manchester United have denied reports that they could terminate Cristiano Ronaldo's contract. Despite his desire to leave the club, interest in Ronaldo has been sparse. Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain all distanced themselves from a potential transfer. Atletico Madrid also backed away from a deal. United's poor start means they find themselves bottom of the Premier League after two games and both the players and owners facing a serious inquest.
