Admittedly, it might seem strange to some that Liverpool supporters are eyeing another player to bolster their attacking options.
On Wednesday night, they breezed past Porto - a side that look set to win the Portuguese league this year - recording a 5-0 scoreline that more or less books Jürgen Klopp and his players a spot in the the Champions League quarter finals.
You can, however, never have too much of a good thing, and a brief look at Twitter reveals that plenty of their fans are urging the club to make a move for Real Madrid's Marco Asensio to add to their attacking options.
Despite his evident talent, the 22-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular starting berth for the European and Spanish champions this season. As a result, some reports have claimed the Spanish international may now be tempted to move on from the Santiago Bernabeu in search of pastures new.

Perhaps given how disgruntled some Reds were at the failure to replace Philippe Coutinho and loan departure Daniel Sturridge, a move for Asensio would make perfect sense. There's certainly enough of them that appear to want it to happen...
