Manchester City moved to the top of the Premier League
Kevin De Bruyne rubbed salt into the wounds of Arsenal fans after Manchester City beat the Gunners to move to the top of the Premier League.
Goals from the Belgian before Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland cancelled out Bukayo Saka's equaliser were the difference as Pep Guardiola's side secured their most important win of the season.
It was a tense affair at the Emirates which threatened to boil over on a couple of occasions. De Bruyne was at the centre of one of those as he was involved in an altercation with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta when trying to retrieve the ball.
Arteta tried to slow the game down by pushing the ball away from the midfielder to prevent him from taking a quick throw in.
Amazon Prime Video co-commentator Ally McCoist also spotted the incident and admitted that both were in the wrong.

"I know what he was up to, Arteta, but I'm not sure it deserved that reaction," he said.
"But he was being a bit naughty. Watch, he takes it away there and then gets a little shove for his efforts. But do you know what it's done? It's got the crowd going."

De Bruyne was subbed towards the closing stages of the game but as he departed the pitch, began to rile up sections of the home support.
Some sections of the fanbase responded to the midfielder's goading by throwing water bottles towards his direction but De Bruyne didn't retaliate, dodging at attempts to catch him.
After the game, the 31-year-old fuelled the fire even further by posting a series of pictures to his Instagram story. The first of those says: 'Beer anyone?' gesturing to the crowd while the second says 'thanks' where a cup is visibly being thrown towards him.
