Back in 2003, the highest spending team in the January transfer window spent £9m getting one man in to shore up their defence. 19 years on, the same club splashed out £85m on four players to shore up their entire XI. It is just one example of the spiralling cost of doing business in the summer and January transfer windows, in England. For our latest football quiz, we are asking you to guess the biggest-spending Premier League club of each of the last 20 seasons of January transfer windows. Several teams topped the big-spending lists over multiple years, so one right guess could really bear fruit. You have 2:00 to get all eight teams. Since then, a few more duds would be vying for a place on that list.
