As if James Milner needed to do anything more to endear himself to Liverpool supporters.
Milner is beloved among the Anfield faithful but he's somehow managed to boost his reputation even further with a response to a question from Reds legend Robbie Fowler this week.
The versatile Liverpool midfielder sat down with Fowler for a segment on LFC TV talk show 'LFC Later' when he one-upped a funny question from the man known as 'God' on the red half of Merseyside.
"Leeds, Man City, Liverpool, be honest pal - are you just copying me?" Fowler asked.
Milner had the perfect response ready and waiting though as he explained his career path.

"Yeah, maybe. There are worse people to copy to be fair," Milner answered.
"But nah, I think it was just to annoy Man United really."
Milner's 2015 move to Anfield will go down as one of the best pieces of business in Premier League history as he has proven to be a hard-working revelation after arriving on a free transfer.
While his 33rd birthday is approaching, Milner is still one of the fittest players at Liverpool and he put the young bucks to shame in the first fitness test of the club's preseason training.
