Jon Moss waved away two strong penalty shouts
Fans were left baffled after Huddersfield Town had two clear penalty shouts turned down in their play off final defeat to Nottingham Forest.
Levi Colwill's first half own goal secured Forest's return to the Premier League after 23 years outside of the top flight but it wasn't without controversy.
As Huddersfield pushed for an equaliser in the second half, the first of their two shouts saw defender Harry Toffolo tripped by Jack Colback in the box.
Referee Jon Moss initially waved it away and booked Toffolo for diving and despite VAR intervening to see if the decision would be overturned, Moss' decision stood.

Moments later and Huddersfield thought they had another clear shout for a penalty after Lewis O'Brien was clearly tripped by Max Lowe however Moss and VAR waved away the calls.

Forest eventually held on to secure their return to the top-flight but fans across social media were left baffled at the decisions from the officials.
One fan said: "Thank god Jon Moss is retiring. Surely this is a penalty yet VAR decide not."

Mirror tweeted: "Jon Moss interpreting that incident as a dive and VAR lacking the strength in conviction to inform him of the error is dispiriting. Huddersfield Town will rightfully feel robbed if the score stays as it is.
"Huddersfield Town now denied a second penalty. Jon Moss and VAR not interested. Two clear penalties denied, overviewed by a system designed to remove such injustices. Football can be utterly bizarre."
