Proposals have been submitted for the procedure to be introduced from next season
Half time interviews with Premier League managers and coaches could come into place from next season, with proposals already reportedly sent to the 20 clubs.
As reported by the Daily Mail, the proposal would see live broadcasted games feature interviews with managers and coaches during the half time break.
Interviews would take place at the start or end of half time
It would take place either at the start or end of the 15-minute break however it is yet to be officially confirmed, with the league's 20 managers set to vote on whether or not to include them during June's AGM.
In order to cater to all, it is believed that managers would be limited to five interviews per season and only sides who were winning on the game would be approached.
Good news for all the managers who thought they would have to speak to the cameras if their side was being hammered at half time.
Half time interviews are common in the US
Should such a move come into place it would be the first time anything of this calibre would have been introduced to the Premier League.
Half time interviews with managers and coaches are a formal procedure in the US, but no such things has happened in England. Media departments are also said to be encouraged by the idea and would be open to incorporating them into the match day experience.
As part of their duties, managers must always host a pre-match and post-match press conference for each fixture while any live broadcasted games require bosses to speak to the cameras before and after the game.
