Gary Neville was told off for making a tongue-in-cheek joke about Manchester City on Sunday.
Neville was part of the punditry team who watched over City's 3-1 win against Aston Villa as three first half goals from Rodri, Ilkay Gundogan and a Riyad Mahrez penalty made for a comfortable win.
It was the reigning Premier League champions' first game since being charged with 115 financial breaches over nine seasons.
Fans made their feelings known at the Etihad Stadium, bringing banners criticising the Premier League as well as booing the league's anthem before kick off.

Before going off air, presenter Kelly Cates plugged an upcoming documentary looking into Man City's 1998/1999 promotion season, where they came from two goals down to beat Gillingham in stoppage time to win the play-off final on penalties.
The title of the documentary was a nod to one of the club's classic songs: 'We're Not Really Here: Man City' but as soon as Cates said it, Neville jokingly replied: "Might not be in a few years..."
While Neville found it funny, former Man City defender Micah Richards told him to "tone it down, will you."
His joke even managed to crack a rare smile from Roy Keane while Cates replied "We nearly got through it Gary," to which he responded: "I'm only joking Micah relax, you can't joke anymore."

Cates ensured her professionalism remained intact, reminding people that "We can't pre-judge the outcome of any investigation, as you well know."
She then ended the programme by saying: "From all of us here, I think it's probably best we go, don't you?"
City return to action in a must-win top of the table clash against Arsenal on Wednesday, where three points will see them go level on points with the Gunners.
