Gareth Bale linked with sensational return to Tottenham

Gareth Bale could be set for a shock return to Tottenham, if reports are to be believed. The Real Madrid outcast has reportedly lowered his wage demands to £250,000 per week, which has alerted Daniel Levy and the Spurs hierarchy. They are rumoured to be leading the race to sign Bale's Real Madrid teammate, left back Sergio Reguilón. Manchester United were firm favourites to land the Spaniard, but have been reportedly put off by the buy-back clause Real Madrid want included in the deal. Reguilón spent last season on loan at Sevilla, where he excelled. His performance against Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League ensured there would be no shortage of suitors for his services.
