Icardi and Nara ended their well-documented relationship last month following a series of high-profile spats and allegations. The pair had separated once before last year, but were able to settle their differences and got back together.
Nara announced her "painful moment" in an Instagram post last month before a video showed her kissing a rapper named L-Gante surfaced.
After seeing the video Icardi - who is on-loan at Galatasaray from Paris Saint-Germain - has flown back to his home country to speak to his former wife, as reported by Radio Mitre.
The outlet have reported that Icardi wants Nara to return to Turkey with him however his behaviour could lead to his time at the club being cut short.
Radio Mitre claimed that the forward "immediately phoned Wanda, asked her to return to Turkey and put an end to this media farce."
Icardi was seen arriving at the hotel where Nara was staying, but was blocked from entering by the security guards outside.
In the footage Icardi can be seen looking animated and in an angry discussion with security guards while holding his suitcases.
As part of the drama between the pair, their separation is complicated by the fact that Nara is Icardi's agent, meaning that any club issues and potential transfers that may arise are dealt with by Nara, regardless of the status of their relationship.
